Note: We do not write documents; we correct mistakes on your completed documents.

Many first-time clients are unsure about the difference between editing and proofreading, and which service they may need. We can help you to craft a superior document from small projects to a large project, such as a long-term business plan or legal case.

Some project examples:

Cost: $45 per Hour

As a professional or student, you want your work to be judged on merit, not your English writing skills. We will help you communicate more clearly, revising your document for clarity and word choice as well as grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Editing or "copyediting" involves a proactive editor making changes and suggestions that will improve the overall quality of your writing, particularly in relation to language use and expression. After editing, your language will be sharp and consistent, your expression clear and the overall readability of your writing enhanced. Editing should ensure that your writing gives the impression that the English language comes naturally to you, even if it does not.

Cost: $.02 per word

Proofreading, on the other hand, has less ambition than editing and is, therefore, a less expensive service, but still performs a vital role. Proofreading is the process of correcting surface errors in writing, such as grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and other language mistakes.

Proofreading is an important service because any writing that is intended for publication - an academic article, white paper, legal or business document - must communicate its message in the clearest possible way. For writing to be clear, there must be no spelling, grammar or punctuation errors, or inconsistency in language, as these can undermine the impact of the writing and the credibility of the author.

Cost: $.35 per page

Specifically for court reporters: Because of our legal experience, we understand the need for expedited orders, and we have a knack for picking out errors and spotting inconsistencies common in transcripts.
Typing Cost: $45 per hour

Our print transcription work can convert your handwritten or printed text into a typed document. Handwriting recognition software may not recognize your script, and it may take longer than actual typing.
