recent paralegal studies at DeAnza College, Jennifer did an extended internship at the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s 
Office, working on a special project identifying crime victims and their restitution. After getting her AA in Paralegal Studies, she worked for a corporate and litigation law firm. Jennifer is currently working for a law firm honing her skills in probate, trusts, estate planning, elder law and conservatorships. 


Ms. Freitas is in the process of obtaining an Advanced Specialization in Estate Planning certificate in addition to her Certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) which keeps her CLE compliant. She is experienced in drafting of pleadings, legal research and case management. For over nine years, Jennifer worked as an Executive Assistant for a mechanical engineer who works with litigation attorneys as an expert witness. She read and summarized depositions, proofread and processed legal documents and other case materials related to vehicle collision injuries and machine-part malfunctions. Prior to her law career, she was a personal assistant, house manager, professional organizer and private chef. Jennifer studied Pre-Law in college but decided to delve into the restaurant business and stayed there for 15 years. She has returned to the area of law and is enjoying the complexities.
